Meet the Team

Meet DOROTHA, Pepper's primary pet care provider and the proud pet mom to our adorable namesake, Pepper and her little sister, Widow. "Every pet who comes through the door is special and it is my goal to make sure they know it!" Dorotha has developed a routine and schedule that pets adapt to easily. The more fun your pet has at Pepper's the more relaxed your time away from them will be. The key components in keeping the Pals safe are constant education by way of membership in professional pet sitting organizations, countless hours of experience and study. She is also working hard at capturing the sweet, silly and occasionally hilarious pictures and videos which are posted daily on our Facebook page. "I never would have considered pet sitting as my calling, but God had a plan for me and I love it. Even when your pet is not with me, I am thinking about them. They are truly a part of our extended family."

BARBARA is our newest addition to the Pepper's Pals team. She is an expert dog walker and cat care provider. Barbara is committed to helping local rescue organizations with fundraising and sharing the needs required to ensure the most vulnerable get the help and support they need. (Just to clarify, this is not Barbara, it is her fur baby, Colt!)

ALEXA is not just a pet sitter, she's a former client!. She loved what we do so much, she decided to join us as an affiliate. She operates her own pet sitting business and works with the Pepper's team on a regular basis. We couldn't do it without her, and frankly, we wouldn't want to! She is a proud mom of one human boy, and fur babies, Tank and Riley (canine), Bob and Ninja (feline).

ALEX is expanding her services to include limited "Boutique" home boarding as well as weekend and evening home visits from Cutler Bay to North Pinecrest. In additional to her experience as a pet owner, Alex's prior position at a local veterinary office is invaluable to the team.

HOLLY is the resident substitute at Pepper's. When Dorotha cannot be at home, either for a planned trip or an unexpected emergency, Holly takes the reins and moves into position. Holly is Pepper and Widow's "first mom" and has years of experience in pet sitting and being the mom to her own fur baby Lilo! She meets all the guests' pets so they are very comfortable with her. Holly can also help with weekend and holiday boarding when there is more than a crowd at Pepper's. She lives just around the corner and enjoys having a guest or two for the weekend.

Meet Tracy! A pet sitter in a past life and now a welcome addition to the Pepper's Team. Tracy will likely spoil your pet! In addition to home boarding, Tracy visits our furry friends in their own homes for a good midday walk or to help when dogs prefer to stay home.

All of Pepper's Pals associates and subcontractors: have access to Pepper's house in the event of an emergency; are covered by our insurance carrier; can be paid directly by the client; and maintain the highest levels of integrity and trust when your pet is under their care.
